1. FC Köln eyes €8 million move for Polish winger Marcel Reguła

Marcel Reguła, a 19‑year‑old product of Zagłębie Lubin, has attracted interest from German Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln. During two seasons with the Polish side he made 40 Ekstraklasa appearances, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. German newspaper Bild reports Köln is prepared to pay around eight million euros for the winger, a fee that would make him the most expensive sale in Zagłębie’s history. The transfer would also place Reguła among the costliest departures from the Polish league, alongside players such as Ante Crnac, Kacper Kozłowski and Jakub Moder.

Zagłębie Lubin holds Reguła’s contract until 30 June 2028 and has indicated it will not accept a low‑ball offer. Negotiations may be prolonged as the club aims to secure a price that reflects the player’s recent form – he was named the best youth player in the Ekstraklasa and contributed seven goals and five assists in the 2025‑26 season. Köln sees Reguła as a potential replacement for outgoing forward Jakub Kamiński.
