100 Mile House RCMP report RV rollover, theft, and impaired driving

The RCMP in 100 Mile House reported several incidents involving vehicle collisions, theft, and impaired driving. On August 6, a truck towing a recreational vehicle overturned on Highway 97 near Ferguson Road. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in Williams Lake, while a dog in the vehicle was seriously injured.

Other recent police activity includes the theft of generators, cash, and documents from three RV trailers on Wrangler Way on August 7. Additionally, police cited four drivers for speeding on Highway 97 on August 5, with vehicles traveling 100 km/h in 50 km/h zones.

Law enforcement also addressed impaired driving, issuing a 90-day driving prohibition and a 30-day vehicle impoundment following an incident on Highway 24. Another driver received a 24-hour license suspension after admitting to recent methamphetamine use during a patrol on Highway 97.
