1,000-lb Sisters Season 9 premieres on TLC

Season 9 of the TLC reality series ‘1,000-lb Sisters’ premieres on Tuesday, September 1, at 9 p.m. ET. The new season follows sisters Amy and Tammy Slaton, now in their 30s, as they navigate their ongoing weight loss journeys and personal changes.

In the premiere episode, titled ‘Play That Funky Music, AI’, the sisters attempt to repair their relationship. The season will also feature updates on Amy’s music career, Tammy’s fitness journey, and the health progress of family member Chris Combs.

Viewers without cable can stream the premiere via Philo, which offers a 7-day free trial, or DIRECTV, which provides a 5-day free trial. Episodes are also expected to be available on HBO Max the following day.
