1001 Night Döner to open premium restaurant in Graz

A new premium kebab restaurant, ‘1001 Night Döner’, is scheduled to open at Mariahilferplatz in Graz by autumn 2026. Located at Mariahilferstraße 20 within the historic Palais Wertl, the establishment aims to elevate the traditional kebab concept toward a fine-dining experience.

The project is led by restaurateur Mustafa Demir, who currently operates ‘Dem’s Gourmet’ in Murpark. The new concept focuses on high-quality ingredients and unique culinary offerings, such as signature dishes featuring bone marrow. Additionally, the restaurant plans to prepare bread fresh on-site in view of the customers.

Due to the restaurant's location in a protected historical building, the interior design must adhere to monument protection regulations. The goal is to create a significant gastronomic destination in the center of Graz rather than a standard snack bar.
