10th Brazilian Forum of Environmental Education opens submissions

The deadline for submitting academic and community works to the 10th Brazilian Forum of Environmental Education (FBEA) is September 30. The event, themed ‘Environmental Education for Life,’ will take place in Brasília from November 23 to 28.

Submissions are open to researchers, educators, students, public managers, and representatives of traditional communities. Eligible works include research, experience reports, educational practices, and social technologies related to environmental education. Evaluation criteria focus on thematic relevance, methodological clarity, and practical-theoretical contributions.

The forum is organized by the Ministry of Environment (MMA) in partnership with the Brazilian Network of Environmental Education (Rebea), the Brasília Environmental Institute (Ibram/DF), the National Articulation of Environmental Education Public Policies (Anppea), and the University of Brasília (UnB). The program will feature thematic tables, workshops, and a solidarity economy fair. While registration fees apply for some professionals, entry is free for public and private basic education teachers and students, as well as indigenous, quilombola, and traditional communities.
