14 injured in microbus rollover on Sinai's Nakhil road

Fourteen passengers from Port Said were injured after a microbus overturned multiple times on the Nakhil–Ras al-Naqab road in central Sinai. The accident occurred around 8:07 AM following a period of heavy fog in the area.

Passengers reported several irregularities regarding the Go Bus Mini trip. They stated the vehicle provided was different from the one originally booked online, causing delays and frequent phone disputes between the driver and the company. Witnesses described the driver as operating the vehicle unsafely, including high speeds, aggressive maneuvering, and frequent use of a mobile phone while driving.

The vehicle also reportedly showed signs of poor maintenance, such as a crack in the glass. Passengers noted that the vehicle swerved suddenly from the far right lane to the far left before falling onto the sand and overturning approximately four times. Injuries reported include fractures, dislocations, bleeding, and facial injuries.
