14-year-old rescued after wandering 3.5 km from Gołuchów swimming area

A 14‑year‑old boy with a mental health condition went missing from the Gołuchów swimming area in the afternoon. Caregivers alerted the local WOPR rescue team, which immediately launched a crisis response, deploying additional personnel and a quad‑equipped rescue trailer. Police from the Gołuchów station joined the search. After intensive searching, the boy was found about 3.5 km from the site and received first‑aid before being transported to hospital for further care. Rescue officials praised the coordinated effort of all services involved.
