17-Year-Old Dies in Kütahya Collision Amid Series of Turkish Road Accidents

A traffic crash on the Kütahya‑Afyonkarahisar highway claimed the life of 17‑year‑old Ali Koltka when his vehicle overturned and struck a lighting post, killing him at the scene. Two drivers, Muhammet Ali Koltka and Halil İbrahim Tunç, were injured and taken to Kütahya City Hospital. Police opened an investigation into the cause of the collision.

In Sakarya’s Akyazı district, a head‑on collision between a Kia car and a motorcycle left the motorcyclist, identified as E. Y., injured. He was treated at Akyazı State Hospital after emergency responders arrived on the scene. Police also began a thorough inquiry.

Further south in Hatay’s Erzin district, a car lost control, rolled over, and trapped three occupants. Firefighters rescued the passengers after a prolonged effort, and they were transported to the nearest hospital. Jandarma units secured the road while investigators examined the incident.
