17-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Kütahya’s Tavşanlı District

On 12 June 2026 a 17‑year‑old motorcyclist, Muhammet Çakıcı, lost control of his bike on the Tavşanlı‑Hanımçeşme road in Kütahya Province, Turkey. The motorcycle struck a roadside bank, and Çakıcı was seriously injured. He was taken to Tavşanlı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital, where doctors were unable to save him.

Police opened an investigation to determine the cause of the crash and the incident has raised local concerns about motorcycle safety on the district’s roads.
