17-year-old stabbed after scooter chase in Ercolano, Italy

A 17-year-old from Ercolano was attacked on the evening of 7 June. While riding his scooter on Via Plinio, two individuals on another two‑wheel vehicle attempted to ram him, then followed him to a nearby sandwich shop. There the assailants assaulted him with kicks, punches and repeated knife blows.

The victim was taken to the Maresca Hospital in Torre del Greco, where doctors treated cut injuries and estimated a recovery period of about fifteen days. The local Carabinieri are investigating the incident and are working to reconstruct the exact sequence of events and identify the attackers.
