19-year-old shot near car wash in Serrinha, Brazil

A 19-year-old man identified as A.T. was wounded by gunfire on Monday morning in the Cidade Nova neighbourhood of Serrinha, Bahia. Police responding to reports of shots found the victim lying conscious on the sidewalk near Rua Lamarão, close to a car‑wash. He was taken by SAMU to a hospital in Feira de Santana for treatment.

The young man said he could not identify the shooter. Authorities noted his prior involvement in drug‑related activities and possible links to a criminal faction. No suspects have been apprehended, and the case was forwarded to the local police station for further investigation.
