1Komma5° reaches 1.35 billion euro valuation

Hamburg-based energy company 1Komma5° has reached a valuation of 1.35 billion euros following its latest financing round. The company plans to invest more than 100 million euros in 2025 into its AI-based energy management system, Heartbeat AI. This investment aims to automate processes such as energy trading, billing, and consumption measurement.

CEO Philipp Schroeder indicated that the company is considering expansion into the US market due to significant investor interest. The timing of a potential US IPO remains dependent on business development and the political landscape regarding renewable energy. Heartbeat AI, which was established as a subsidiary in late 2024, provides optimization software for energy providers, heat pump manufacturers, and various hardware installers.
