1Komma5° reports revenue growth and profitability boost
Hamburg-based energy company 1Komma5° reports significant growth and profitability in its core hardware business, which includes photovoltaics, heat pumps, storage systems, air conditioning, and wallboxes.
CEO Philipp Schröder stated that the company's revenue grew by 30 percent in the first nine months of 2026 compared to the previous year. For the full year, the company expects growth between 35 and 40 percent. The core business remains profitable, generating 40 million euros in EBITDA during the first three quarters while remaining cash-flow positive.
Schröder emphasized the need for a more intelligent power grid to manage the balance between energy generation and consumption. He noted that current grid management lacks the necessary load management systems to handle modern energy demands, such as the integration of wind power and the needs of data centers.
