2. Bundesliga: Darmstadt and Nürnberg secure home wins
In the opening matches of the 5th matchday of the 2. Bundesliga, SV Darmstadt 98 and 1. FC Nürnberg both secured 2-1 home victories.
SV Darmstadt 98 defeated Arminia Bielefeld at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor. Ho-jae Lee opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, but Bielefeld equalized through Marius Wörl in the 59th minute. The match was decided in the 86th minute when Milan Smit converted a penalty following a handball by Lührs.
At the Max-Morlock-Stadion, 1. FC Nürnberg beat Hannover 96. Julian Justvan gave Nürnberg an early lead in the 5th minute, which Hannover equalized via a penalty from Lars Gindorf in the 8th minute. After a scoreless first half, Mohamed Ali Zoma scored in the 65th minute to secure the win for the hosts.
