2026 Bike Festivals Announced in Colombia and Spain

The municipality of El Retiro in Antioquia, Colombia, opened registration for the Classic Cuna de la Libertad mountain‑bike race. The two‑day event will take place on 26‑27 September 2026, featuring a short‑track race and a 50 km cross‑country marathon. Categories include Junior, Senior, Master, Elite, Women and Gravel, with entry fees rising from COP 90,000 to 150,000 across three phases.

In Toral de los Vados, Spain, the Le Toralé Clasiqué 2026 retro‑bike festival is scheduled for 25‑26 July. Expected to draw more than 300 participants, the weekend will host a vintage‑bike urban race, a traditional march, live music, and communal meals. Attendees must wear period‑appropriate clothing and register with the town hall.

Both events aim to promote cycling tourism and local culture, offering competition, recreation and economic benefits to their host communities.
