2026 European Cycling Races Preview Sprint Stages in France and Denmark
The Tour Auvergne – Rhône-Alpes stage 5 on 11 June 2026 will run 195.8 km from Saint‑Chamond to Parc des Oiseaux – Villars‑les‑Dombes. The early climbs of Côte de la Croix‑Blanche and Col de la Gachet shape the breakaway before a flat finish favours sprinters such as Wout van Aert, Dorian Godon and Hugo Hofstetter. The stage starts at 12:30 local time (11:30 BST) and is broadcast live on TNT Sports and HBO Max in the UK.
The Copenhagen Sprint 2026 will take place on 13–14 June, with a women’s 156 km race on Saturday and a men’s 282 km race on Sunday. Both start in Roskilde and finish with multiple circuits through central Copenhagen. Dutch sprinter Lorena Wiebes returns to defend her women’s title, while Jordi Meeus leads the men’s field. The flat Danish terrain promises sprint finishes, and the events will also be shown on HBO Max, TNT Sports and FloBikes.
