2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final matchups set for July 14‑15

The 2026 FIFA World Cup semi‑finals have been confirmed. France will face Spain on 14 July and England will meet Argentina on 15 July, both matches kicking off at 22:00 Turkey time and broadcast live on TRT 1 and TRT Sport.

No World Cup match is scheduled for 13 July, giving teams a brief rest before the knockout stage. The winners of the two semi‑finals will contest the final on 19 July, while the losers play for third place.

The tournament trophy, made of 18‑carat gold, stands about 37 cm tall, weighs over 6 kg and has a material value estimated at roughly US$250 000. Experts say that if ever auctioned, it could fetch more than US$20 million.
