2026 Gastronomic Route Events Launch in Spain and Colombia

The Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, with the collaboration of Estrella de Levante, organised the "Ruta Gastronómica a Bordo 2026". Open to all boat owners—sail and motor—the free‑registration event includes a culinary competition with categories such as Best Paella, Best Presentation and Tapa of the Day. Activities are scheduled for Saturday, 8 August 2026, with participants preparing dishes on board, submitting photos, and a jury awarding prizes.

In Colombia, the "Ruta del Postre 2026" began in Cali, featuring ten local enterprises that will later travel to Bogotá, Medellín and Barranquilla. Over an 11‑day tour, thousands of visitors are expected to sample desserts made with Colombian cacao, tropical fruits and coffee. Organisers aim to sell more than 25 000 desserts and increase consumption by about 78 % compared with a typical weekend, positioning the route as a driver of tourism and local economic growth.
