2026 Mental Health Conferences Set in Brazil's Pará and Portugal's Madeira

The XI North and Northeast Gestalt‑Therapy Meeting (ENONEGT) will be held in Santarém, Pará, Brazil, on 19‑21 November 2026 at the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA). The three‑day event will bring together psychologists, students and community members to discuss culturally and territorially appropriate mental‑health care, with a focus on inclusion of Black, Indigenous, peripheral and LGBTQIAPN+ participants.

In October 2026, the Mental Health and Psychiatry Nursing Service of Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Portugal, will host a Reflective Mental Health Meeting. Integrated into World Mental Health Day celebrations, the conference aims to promote reflection, scientific exchange and collaboration among health professionals, businesses and civil society, featuring guest speakers from Lisbon and emphasizing stigma reduction and well‑being.

Both gatherings seek to strengthen regional mental‑health networks, highlight diversity in care, and encourage interdisciplinary cooperation in their respective territories.
