Crunchyroll adds Psyren and three new anime to 2026 lineup

Crunchyroll used its Japan Expo 2026 stage in Paris to announce four new anime licenses for the coming months. The most prominent is **Psyren**, a revival of the long‑cancelled Shonen Jump manga, slated for an October 2026 release and will be streamed worldwide except in Japan and China. Also debuting in October is **Dreamland**, a French‑origin series adapted from Reno Lemaire’s manga, with global distribution across North America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS regions. Two additional titles were confirmed for early 2027: **Musketeer Nanako**, a period adventure about a 17th‑century Japanese samurai‑girl traveling to France, and **The Eternal Fool’s Words of Wisdom: A Pawsitively Fantastic Adventure**, a fantasy comedy featuring an eternally youthful wizard and his canine familiar.

The summer 2026 anime season also sees a wave of new fairy‑tale‑inspired series such as *Goodbye, Lara* (a modern take on The Little Mermaid) and two Cinderella‑themed shows, while Crunchyroll highlights three currently airing titles it deems must‑watch: *Tomb Raider King*, *Black Torch* and *Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia*.
