2026 Summer Fragrance Trends Favor Fresh Pear and Citrus Scents

Perfume retailers report that fresh, clean‑smelling fragrances are the most sought‑after for the summer of 2026. Niche brands highlight pear‑based scents such as Jo Malone’s English Pear & Freesia, Kayali’s Eden Plush Pear and Guerlain’s Pear Granita, emphasizing aquatic, juicy and lightly sweet notes. Prices for these niche perfumes range from €45 to €150.

Mainstream brands also promote citrus‑heavy fragrances that use essential oils from lemon, orange, mandarin or bergamot. Marketing manager Miguel Bartolomé explains that the volatile, light notes evaporate quickly in heat, creating a “clean” and energising effect. A selection of six discounted citrus perfumes is offered through the Spanish retailer Druni, with prices starting at €12.95.
