The Italy women's national volleyball team is preparing for the 2026 CEV EuroVolley, scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 6. Head coach Julio Velasco has selected a 14-player roster, which includes stars such as Paola Egonu, Myriam Sylla, and Stella Nervini, though Loveth Omoruyi is absent due to injury.

The tournament will be hosted across four countries: Sweden, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Italy is placed in Pool D in Gothenburg, Sweden, where they will face Croatia, Montenegro, Sweden, Slovakia, and France. The competition serves as a qualifying event for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. The Italian team, currently holding Olympic and World Championship titles, aims to complete a historic triple crown.

In Italy, broadcasting rights for the tournament have been acquired by Sky, with matches available on Sky Sport, NOW, and Sky Go.
