2026 World Cup group stage previews: England‑Panama and Norway‑France matches

England enter the final Group L fixture against Panama on 27 June 2026 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford needing only a draw to secure a top‑two finish and a place in the round of 16. Panama, already eliminated, hope to end their campaign positively. The match will be broadcast live in Brazil on TV Globo, SBT, SporTV, among other platforms.

Norway, already qualified for the knockout stage, will rest star striker Erling Haaland and several regular starters in their Group I clash with France. A victory is required for Norway to overtake France on goal difference and win the group. France will line up without head coach Didier Deschamps, who is absent following his mother’s death; assistant Guy Stéphan will manage the side.
