2026‑2027 School Calendars Announced for New Zealand and Italy

Wellington College in Wellington, New Zealand has published its 2026 term schedule. Term 2 runs from 20 April to 3 July and includes a school production of *Amadeus* (25‑27 June) and a parent presentation on 1 July. Term 3 (20 July‑25 Sept) features tutor conferences on 12 August and exam periods in September, while Term 4 (12 Oct‑8 Dec) contains exam windows, staff days and the final school holidays.

Italy’s Ministry of Education released the national school calendar for the 2026‑2027 academic year. It lists national holidays such as All Saints (1 Nov), Immaculate Conception (8 Dec), Christmas (25 Dec) and Epiphany (6 Jan), as well as Easter dates (28 Mar‑29 Mar 2027). Regions set their own start dates; for example, the autonomous province of Bolzano begins on 7 Sept, whereas Puglia starts on 17 Sept.
