2027 Women's World Cup preparations enter 300-day countdown

The countdown to the 2027 Women's World Cup has reached 300 days. This tournament will be the first hosted in Brazil and South America, featuring 32 teams competing in 64 matches across eight host cities.

Key details include the group stage draw, scheduled for December 11 at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. Following the draw, FIFA will release an updated match calendar. The tournament is expected to see record-breaking attendance, with over 800,000 people already expressing interest in tickets.

The Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro will host the opening match on June 24 and the final on July 25. Arena Itaquera in São Paulo is set to host the highest number of matches with 10. Other host venues include Arena Castelão, Mineirão, Mané Garrincha, Beira-Rio, Arena Pernambuco, and Fonte Nova.
