Mexico reports three fatal attacks in Sinaloa and Coahuila

A shooting in the Infonavit Cañadas colonia of Culiacán, Sinaloa, left a minor dead and a 21‑year‑old man injured after gunfire struck the victims around 22:30 on July 4. Police cordoned the area and collected large‑calibre shell casings while investigations continue.

In Saltillo, Coahuila, an 18‑year‑old was critically stabbed during a street fight near the Palacio de Gobierno shortly after midnight. Four suspects were arrested and the victim was taken to a hospital with a reserved prognosis.

Separately, a 37‑year‑old motorcyclist died instantly after colliding head‑on with an agricultural truck on the junction of highways 20 and 50 in Navolato, Sinaloa. The truck driver fled the scene; authorities are investigating the crash and searching for the driver.
