21-year-old surrenders to Reggio Emilia police over e‑bike robbery

A 21‑year‑old was accused in August 2025 of aggravated robbery after stealing an electric bicycle and threatening the owner with an improvised weapon. The preliminary judge originally imposed a restriction prohibiting the suspect from residing in the municipality, but the public prosecutor appealed the decision, prompting a warrant for his arrest.

The young man voluntarily presented himself at the Reggio Emilia police headquarters on Via Brigata Reggio, accompanied by his lawyer. After formal identification by the scientific police unit, he was transferred to the Reggio Emilia prison to serve a custodial measure.
