21Shares rebrands Polkadot ETF to include staking in name

21Shares has rebranded its US-listed Polkadot ETF to the ‘21Shares Polkadot Staking ETF’ (ticker: TDOT) to more accurately reflect the fund’s operational structure. The change is part of a broader rebranding effort by 21Shares for several of its single-asset staking ETFs, including those for Ethereum and Solana.

The ETF holds Polkadot (DOT) tokens and stakes a portion of them through network validators to generate yield, which is then passed back to shareholders on a quarterly basis. As of late August 2026, the fund’s assets under management (AUM) were reported between $7.5 million and $7.9 million, with a management fee of 0.30%.

Operational details indicate that Figment provides staking services, while custodial duties are shared among Anchorage Digital, BitGo, and Coinbase entities. While the rebranding clarifies the product's intent to provide both spot exposure and staking rewards, 21Shares notes that staking rewards are not guaranteed and do not protect against asset price volatility.
