During police operation "Sieť" on 29 July, Slovak investigators from the Organized Crime and Illegal Migration Unit arrested a 24‑year‑old woman in the Trenčín region and charged her with human trafficking and endangering the moral upbringing of a minor. Prosecutors allege she lured an under‑age girl into providing sexual services, arranging meetings, setting prices and profiting via online portals.
The alleged exploitation took place mainly in the districts of Dubnica nad Váhom and Ilava. If convicted, the woman faces four to ten years in prison. The case was handed over to the prosecutor after extensive evidence gathering by the Police Presidium and the Regional Police Emergency Unit in Bratislava.
