25-year-old suspect arrested in Bacoli after threatening ex‑girlfriend and family
Police in the Pozzuoli area arrested a 25‑year‑old man from Bacoli on charges of stalking, assault and aggravated threats. The violence began after a hostile messages exchange with his former girlfriend, during which he wrote, “I’m coming to your house, bring your father, I’ll cut your heads.”
He attacked his mother, biting her arm and pushing her to the floor, after which she was taken to hospital. Armed with a kitchen knife, the suspect confronted his ex‑girlfriend’s father, who was holding a baseball bat; a passer‑by intervened and prevented further injury. He then proceeded to his sister’s home, smashed the front door and threatened to stab her. Later at the hospital he slapped his father, pushed him to the ground and attempted to strangle him. The Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli company detained him, and he remains in custody awaiting trial.
