26th International Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival begins in Fethiye

The 26th International Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival has officially commenced at Belcekız Beach in Fethiye, Turkey. Scheduled to run from October 21 to 25, 2026, the event features a variety of aviation displays, including paragliding acrobatics, freefall skydiving, wingsuit flying, motorized paragliding, and hot air balloon activities.

A major highlight of the festival is a performance by the Turkish Air Force aerobatic team, the Türk Yıldızları, which is expected to draw significant crowds during its flight demonstration at Çalış Beach on October 25.

Local leaders and representatives from the Turkish Aeronautical Association emphasized the event's potential to boost the regional economy. Sadet Kansız noted that the festival should serve as a platform to promote Fethiye globally and ensure that local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, and small tradespeople, benefit from the influx of international visitors and tourists.
