26‑year‑old sentenced for €18,000 Rolex robbery in Caselle, Italy

A 26‑year‑old man pleaded guilty to a robbery carried out on 24 October 2025 in Caselle, where he and an accomplice stole a rose‑gold Rolex worth €18,000 from an apartment on Via Gibellini. During the escape, the suspect fled in a red Lancia Ypsilon, striking a neighbour who tried to block the car; the victim was injured. The investigation relied on a passer‑by’s recorded licence‑plate number and municipal CCTV footage. In a hearing before the Tribunal of Turin, the judge accepted a plea agreement, granting generic mitigating factors for the lack of prior convictions and restitution already paid. The sentence consists of two years and eight months of home detention and a €1,000 fine.
