29CM expands into living sector with DDP Design Fair

Lifestyle platform 29CM, operated by Musinsa, has partnered with the Seoul Design Foundation to host the ‘2026 DDP Design Fair with 29CM’ at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul. Running from the 14th to the 18th, the event features approximately 100 domestic design brands specializing in furniture, lighting, home decor, and kitchenware.

This year’s exhibition focuses exclusively on domestic brands, marking a strategic expansion for 29CM as it moves from a fashion-centric platform into the home and lifestyle sector. The exhibition is organized by lifestyle themes—such as rest, dining, organization, and interaction—rather than by product category, reflecting the platform’s curation-based approach.

The event provides a significant physical touchpoint for online-centric brands; over 70% of participating brands do not operate their own offline stores, and 75% are participating in the fair for the first time. This initiative aims to support the growth of emerging designers and expand the market reach of domestic living brands.
