2AM launches 3D-printed footwear brand in Malaysia
Footwear brand 2AM has officially entered the Malaysian market with the opening of its first standalone store at IOI City Mall. The brand distinguishes itself by utilizing 3D printing technology as its core production method, allowing for greater experimentation with shape, structure, and function while promoting the use of recyclable materials to reduce waste.
Targeting consumers aged 22 to 55, particularly those interested in fashion, sneakers, and innovation, 2AM offers designs suitable for both men and women. Following the initial launch, the brand plans to open a second location at Sunway Pyramid on September 15. Future expansion sites under consideration include Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, The Exchange TRX, Mid Valley, 1 Utama, and KLCC.
Beyond retail expansion, 2AM aims to build a local community through collaborations with Malaysian creative players. The brand is also exploring future applications of 3D printing technology, such as personalized designs, customized sizing, and specialized arch support.
