2GO Group pledges to support Mindanao economic growth through connectivity

2GO, the largest integrated transportation and logistics provider in the Philippines, has reaffirmed its commitment to driving economic growth in Mindanao by enhancing regional connectivity. Speaking at the 35th Mindanao Business Conference in Cagayan de Oro City, 2GO Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer William Howell identified connectivity as a vital component for building a future-proof and inclusive economy in the region.

Howell noted that Mindanao plays a central role in the Philippine economy through its contributions to agriculture, fisheries, energy, manufacturing, mining, exports, and tourism. He outlined four strategic pillars for the region’s economic advantage: industry, growth engines, connectivity, and tourism. By strengthening the links between farmers and markets, manufacturers and customers, and exporters and gateways, 2GO aims to help unlock the region's full economic potential.
