2iE Graduates Celebrate Completion of 55th Cohort in Ouagadougou
On 28 July 2026, the Institut International d'Ingénierie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement (2iE) held its 55th graduation ceremony at the Salle des Banquets de Ouaga 2000 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Nearly 970 graduates representing about twenty nationalities received diplomas across bachelor, master and doctorate programmes, with 34 top‑of‑class students awarded prizes.
The event was attended by senior government officials, including the Minister of Agriculture, Water and Animal Resources, Ismaël Sombié, and Secretary‑General Adjunct Yassia Kindo. Adama Soro, Vice‑President of Social Performance at Endeavour Mining, addressed the graduates, urging them to make integrity, probity and teamwork the foundations of their careers. Institute Director Bamba Diaw congratulated the cohort and highlighted the institution’s role in training more than 13,200 professionals for Africa’s sustainable development.
