2K and Gearbox Software announce Borderlands 4 DLC releases

2K and Gearbox Software have announced the simultaneous release of two new DLC packs for Borderlands 4 on September 10, alongside a major update that includes a level cap increase.

One expansion, ‘Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort’, introduces the new Vault Hunter class ‘Loveless the Hacker’. The content is set on the tropical island of Providence, where players must battle the Tediore corporation to protect the Ordonite resource. The expansion features new mechanics such as ziplines for vertical movement and ‘Digiverse’ infiltration missions. Players will team up with the character FL4K to confront Lieutenant Harmony.

The second expansion, ‘Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows’, follows the Siren class Amara on an adventure to save the planet Kairos and its moon Elpis. Players will investigate a secret laboratory to uncover truths within the Phase dimension.
