360-degree cameras for content creators see new updates and models

The 360-degree camera market for content creators features several prominent models, including the Insta360 X5, GoPro MAX2, and DJI Osmo 360. These devices allow users to capture entire environments and reframe footage during the editing process.

DJI has released a firmware update (v01.02.03.10) for the Osmo 360 II, which improves low-light video quality through its SuperNight mode and enhances close-range panoramic photos. The update also streamlines the process of uploading large 360-degree files to the cloud via the DJI Mimo app. The Osmo 360 II is capable of native 8K/60fps video and features 14.5 stops of dynamic range.
