365. bank prepares for merger with ČSOB in Slovakia

365. bank is undergoing a process of integration with ČSOB following the acquisition of 98.45% of its shares by KBC Group. The bank is preparing to cease operating as an independent entity to facilitate a legal and operational merger.

Practical changes are already affecting customers, including the relocation of branches into shared spaces with ČSOB, such as a recent move in Trnava. Additionally, the number of standalone 365. bank ATMs has decreased from 176 to 161.

To compensate for the reduction in proprietary hardware, a shared ATM network has been established between ČSOB, 365. bank, and Poštová banka. This network provides clients access to nearly 600 ATMs across Slovakia under standardized conditions. For ČSOB clients, previous transaction limits for partner ATMs have been replaced by customizable limits within the SmartBanking application.
