3billion to showcase newborn genome screening at SSIEM 2026
AI-based rare disease diagnostic company 3billion is participating in the Annual Symposium of the Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (SSIEM 2026) in Helsinki, Finland. The company aims to expand its global presence by introducing its newborn genome screening service, ‘3B-NEO’.
3B-NEO is a genome-based screening tool designed to identify risks for severe genetic disorders in newborns by analyzing 704 genes related to inborn errors of metabolism, immune diseases, and neuromuscular diseases. The service focuses on early detection, as many metabolic disorders can progress rapidly even before physical symptoms become apparent.
By participating in SSIEM 2026, 3billion intends to showcase its Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) diagnostic services and its new 3B-NEO and ‘Family Insight’ products to global medical professionals and researchers. The company seeks to establish partnerships with international medical institutions and explore market opportunities for its genomic analysis technologies.
