3D Systems Beats Q2 2026 Estimates, Shares Jump After Earnings Release

3D Systems Corporation reported second‑quarter 2026 results that topped analyst expectations. Revenue reached $94.6 million, a 0.3% year‑over‑year decline but slightly above the consensus estimate of $93.8 million, and rose 1.4% when divestitures were excluded. The company posted an adjusted loss of $0.04 per share, beating the projected $0.05 loss, and its adjusted EBITDA improved to a $0.8 million loss. Net loss for the quarter was $12.9 million.

Growth was driven by double‑digit increases in both metal and polymer printer sales and strong performance in four priority markets: Med Tech, Dental, Aerospace & Defense, and Data Center Infrastructure, each posting over 20% growth. CEO Dr. Jeffrey Graves highlighted the expanding role of metal 3D printing and the emerging data‑center segment. He also announced his upcoming retirement as president and CEO.

Following the earnings beat, the stock opened at $3.31, up from the prior close of $2.83, and later traded around $3.48, reflecting investor optimism.
