40 Ford Live Softball qualifies for second round of Rubén Pimentel tournament

The 40 Ford Live Softball team has secured its place as the fourth qualifier for the second round of the Rubén Pimentel BB Chata tournament. Organized by the Asociación de Softbol del Distrito Nacional (Asadina) for the 2026 Friendship, Harmony, and Brotherhood Cup, the team advanced following victories against La Cementera and Los Chivitos de Buena Vista at the Alfredo Tejada stadium.

40 Ford Live Softball joins Laboratorio Almont, Fory Boyz, and Los Bandidos que Cocinan in the next stage of the competition. Asadina president Apolinar Durán Brito noted that group leaders advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the best second-place team will be determined via a Wild Card series using the AEGCH tie-breaking system.

In recent match results, Los Chivitos de Buena Vista achieved a 16-0 super knockout victory over La Cementera, led by Robert Arvelo, who hit two home runs.
