42Maru proposes Agentic AI integration for police administration

Generative AI startup 42Maru presented strategies for integrating Agentic AI into police administration and public safety operations during a lecture at the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency. CEO Donghwan Kim discussed transitioning toward an ‘AI-native police force’ by utilizing AI that can independently judge and execute complex tasks.

Kim, who serves as a private member of the National Police Agency’s AI and Data-based Administration Committee, highlighted how Agentic AI can support critical decision-making in emergency response and investigation. The technology aims to analyze vast datasets and provide real-time evidence to assist officers in their core duties, thereby enhancing public safety and administrative efficiency.
