45-year-old man charged with sexual abuse at Sis home in Boden

A 45‑year‑old male employee of the state‑run care institution Sävastgården in Boden has been indicted for multiple sexual offenses against a resident girl. Prosecutors say the abuse occurred between November 2022 and September 2025, spanning periods when the victim was a minor and later an adult. The charges include aggravated rape of a child, aggravated rape after the victim turned 15, and aggravated child‑pornography offenses for documenting the attacks.

The case will be heard at the Gothenburg District Court on 21 July. Two additional persons are also charged with aggravated assistance to a criminal, alleged to have had links to the accused. The institution’s acting director declined to comment, citing the ongoing legal process.
