San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans clash during heated joint practice

A joint training camp practice between the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans on Tuesday was marked by intense physicality and multiple scuffles. Within the first ten minutes of 11-on-11 drills, at least four fights broke out, leading to several players being ejected from the session. Tennessee offensive linemen Austin Deculus and Dan Moore Jr. were reportedly kicked out for throwing punches, while San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan stated that two of his own players were banned from the remainder of the workout for their involvement in the altercations.

Despite the hostility, 49ers linebacker Fred Warner noted that the team worked to refocus on football after the initial outbursts. The practice also served as a competitive environment for roster battles; Tennessee rookie guard Fernando Carmona Jr. earned first-team reps, and San Francisco continued managing injuries, including monitoring running back Christian McCaffrey and defensive end Nick Bosa, who missed practice due to soreness.

The two teams are scheduled to face each other in a preseason game this Thursday at Levi's Stadium.
