Metro 2039 pre-orders open for February 2027 release

Developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver have opened digital pre-orders for Metro 2039, the latest installment in the post-apocalyptic FPS series. The game is scheduled for release on February 4, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

Three editions are available: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes a story expansion DLC, a digital soundtrack, and a digital artbook. The Collector’s Edition features physical items such as a wearable replica Spartan helmet and a steelbook. All pre-orders include the Specialist Pack DLC, which provides early unlocks for backpack upgrades related to equipment, chemtech, or munitions.

The game follows the character known as the Stranger in the ruins of Moscow, set years after the events of Metro Exodus. Notably, the title will feature full Polish voice acting, marking a first for the series, while Russian language support has been omitted, a decision linked to the ongoing geopolitical situation in Ukraine.
