4iG Group and SpaceX partner to launch Starlink Mobile in Europe

4iG Group and SpaceX have signed landmark agreements to introduce Starlink Mobile and Sovereign Solutions to Europe. The partnership, finalized in Bastrop, Texas, aims to enhance the reliability and resilience of European communication networks.

Under the Starlink Mobile initiative, 4iG will deploy first-generation services to complement terrestrial networks in Hungary and the Western Balkans, specifically targeting areas with limited mobile coverage. This will be followed by Starlink Mobile V2 technology, which utilizes SpaceX’s 2 GHz spectrum to enable high-speed 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) capabilities directly on standard mobile devices.

The Sovereign Solutions component focuses on developing secure, state-level satellite communication capabilities designed for national security, defense, and critical state infrastructure. This model represents a unique European integration of commercial satellite-to-mobile technology with protected sovereign communication solutions.
