4th Infantry Division integrates new officers and unveils renovated museum
The Philippine Army’s 4th Infantry Division (4ID) held a series of ceremonies at Camp Evangelista on September 7, including the integration of 22 new officers and the unveiling of a renovated division museum.
MGEN Marion T. Angcao, the 4ID commander, led the events, which included the observance of Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2026. During the ceremony, Angcao delivered a message from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., emphasizing the importance of defending the nation’s maritime domain and collective solidarity regarding the West Philippine Sea.
Additionally, the division inaugurated the newly renovated Borromeo Hall, which now serves as the 4ID Museum. The facility includes an audio-visual room and a mini-library designed to preserve the division’s military heritage and combat history. The renovation was sponsored by Jose Vicente “Lito” Cabrera Sr. and his family.
