5 Minutos Más premieres at San Sebastián Film Festival

The Spanish time-travel drama ‘5 Minutos Más’ (5 More Minutes), directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera, has made its world premiere in the main competition at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Written by and starring Berto Romero alongside Belen Cuesta, the film follows a couple attempting to repair their marriage at a vacation home in Girona. The narrative takes a sci-fi turn when time begins jumping back in five-minute increments, leading to increasing paranoia. The production is described as a genre-blending mix of comedy, science fiction, and thriller. The film is produced by Movistar Plus, El Terrat (part of The Mediapro Studio), and Ikiru Films, with Filmax managing domestic and international distribution.
