50 Cent joins Payday TV series as executive producer

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has joined the live-action television adaptation of the popular heist video game franchise “Payday” as an executive producer. The project will be developed through his company, G-Unit Film & Television, in partnership with Vice Studios and the game’s developer, Starbreeze Entertainment.

Jackson, known for his work on the “Power” franchise, stated that the collaboration offers an opportunity to build a “high-energy franchise that pushes the heist genre forward.” Starbreeze CEO Adolf Kristjansson emphasized that the goal is to do the franchise justice by working with partners deeply immersed in its world.

While the project has gained significant production talent, it remains in the early stages of development. As of now, no specific writer, showrunner, or streaming platform has been officially attached to the series.
